Digital Relaunch Package: Everything You Need To Know
The Website Payment Plan That Actually Makes Sense for Small Businesses
Let me tell you about a conversation we had last Tuesday.
A joiner from Glasgow called us. He's been running his business for eight years, had a waiting list of clients, and was still taking bookings through Facebook Messenger. His website was a half-baked attempt built on Wix in 2017, never updated, never even really finished properly.
"I know, I know I need to sort it," he said. "But I can't drop £2,000 right now. Maybe next year we'll be in a better position."
We've had this exact conversation over five hundred times this year.
And honestly? We got tired of saying "sorry, this job will cost us around £1,500 upfront to start."
So we built something different.
What Is the Digital Relaunch Package?
Here's the deal, laid out as simply as we can make it:
£195 to get started. £100 a month for 18 months. That's it.
For that, you get a professional website built from scratch in three weeks, hosted and maintained by us, with ongoing support included. No surprise invoices. No hourly rates for changes. No being left to figure out WordPress on your own at 11pm.
After 18 months, the monthly fee drops to £50 for hosting and maintenance. You can stay with us as long as you like, or leave and take your website with you.
Total cost in year one: £1,395. That's less than most agencies charge upfront before you've even seen a design.
Why We're Doing This
We started Purple Bird because we kept seeing brilliant businesses held back by terrible websites. Or no websites. Or websites they'd abandoned because updating them was too complicated.
The barrier was always the same: upfront cost.
A plasterer in West Lothian told us he'd been quoted £2,800 for a basic site. He laughed down the phone. "Mate, that's a month's income. I can't just hand that over."
He was getting all his work through word of mouth and a Facebook page that kept getting flagged for violating some policy he didn't understand. He needed to show up on Google. He needed somewhere to send people that looked legitimate. He just couldn't afford the entry ticket.
We thought about this for months. How could we make professional web design accessible without cutting corners or delivering rubbish?
The answer was in how we work. We've built systems and tools that let us create websites more efficiently than traditional agencies. We don't have expensive offices or account managers billing out at £150 an hour. We've automated the repetitive stuff and focused on the parts that actually matter.
That efficiency meant we could spread the cost and lower the barrier.
This isn't a cheap website. It's a professional website you can actually afford.
What You Actually Get
When we say professional website, here's what we mean:
A custom-designed site built specifically for your business, not a template with your logo slapped on top. Usually between three and five pages, depending on what you need. A homepage that actually explains what you do. An about page that tells your story. A services or portfolio page that shows your work. A contact page that makes it easy for customers to reach you.
Everything works on mobile because that's where most of your customers will see it first. We set up forms so enquiries come straight to your email. We install analytics so you can see who's visiting and where they're finding you. We handle all the technical stuff: hosting, security certificates, making sure nothing breaks when Google updates its algorithm.
You get one professional email address set up and working. That means ending emails from yourname@gmail.com and starting to look like the established business you are.
If you're a photographer, a baker, or anyone who needs to show visual work, we build gallery sections that actually showcase what you do. If you're a tradesperson who wants to display customer reviews or case studies, we build that in.
And here's the part that matters most: ongoing support is included in your monthly fee. Website breaks at 6am? We fix it. Need to update your prices? Tell us and we'll change them. Want to add a new service? We'll build the page.
You're not left alone with a login you don't understand and a fear of breaking something.
Who This Is Actually For
We're working with tradespeople who need to show up when someone googles "electrician near me" at 7pm on a Sunday. Salons and gyms that need online booking systems that don't look like they were built in 2008. Bakers and florists who need somewhere beautiful to showcase their work that isn't buried in Instagram's algorithm.
Local cafes and restaurants that need to put their menu online without paying a delivery platform to host it. Personal trainers, dog walkers, gardeners, independent retailers. Startups that just registered as a limited company and need to look legitimate from day one.
If you're running a business with tight margins, a small team, and no time to mess about with website builders, this is for you.
If you're currently taking bookings through Instagram DMs or losing customers because your website looks like it hasn't been touched since 2015, this is for you.
If you've been putting off sorting your online presence because you can't justify the upfront cost, this is definitely for you.
Who It's Not For
We should be honest about this too.
If you need a full e-commerce store with payment processing and complex product catalogues, this package isn't built for that. We can absolutely build that for you, but it requires a different structure and pricing.
If you're a large company with a big marketing budget, you don't need this offer. You need something more comprehensive, and you can afford to pay for it upfront.
If you need highly custom functionality that goes beyond what a normal business website requires, we should talk about a bespoke project instead.
This package exists specifically for small businesses who need a solid, professional web presence without the financial stress of a huge upfront payment.
How the Numbers Actually Stack Up
Let's be transparent about costs because nobody else in this industry seems to be.
Traditional web agency: You're looking at £1,500 to £3,000 upfront for a basic business website. Then another £50 to £100 a month for hosting, billed separately. Want to make changes? That's usually charged hourly, anywhere from £50 to £150. Something breaks? Hope you kept the developer's number. First year total: somewhere between £2,100 and £3,600, plus the stress of coordinating everything yourself.
DIY platforms like Wix or Squarespace: Monthly cost is lower, maybe £15 to £30. But you're building it yourself. That's 20 to 40 hours if you've never done it before, watching YouTube tutorials at midnight, swearing at fonts that won't align properly. Even then, it often looks homemade because it is. When something breaks or you can't figure out how to add a feature, there's no human to call. First year total: £180 to £360, plus weeks of your time and the opportunity cost of not doing the things that actually make you money.
Purple Bird Digital Relaunch: £195 upfront to get started. £100 a month for 18 months. First year total: £1,395. Professional design and build, done for you in three weeks. Hosting, maintenance, support, and changes all included in the monthly fee. After 18 months, it drops to £50 a month.
You're getting professional quality at DIY prices, without having to do it yourself.
The Part About Commitment
We're not going to hide the contract terms in small print.
This is an 18-month commitment. We're spreading the cost to make it affordable, which means we need to know you're serious about having a professional website for your business.
If you need to leave early, you can. You'd pay the remaining balance to exit the contract. So if you wanted out after six months, you'd pay the remaining 12 months (£1,200) and you're free to go with your website.
After 18 months, the contract continues at £50 a month for hosting and maintenance. That's not a trial period that sneakily increases later. That's the actual ongoing cost, and it continues as long as you want us to manage your site.
You own the content and design. We manage the technical infrastructure. If you ever decide to leave Purple Bird, you can take your website with you. We're not holding it hostage.
How This Actually Works in Practice
You fill out a form on our website with basic details about your business. You pay the £195 deposit to reserve your spot. This covers our onboarding process and setup costs.
Within 24 hours, someone from our team calls you for a discovery conversation. It takes 15 to 30 minutes. We ask about your business, what you do, who your customers are, what you want your website to achieve. We're not trying to upsell you. We're trying to understand what you actually need.
We create an initial design mockup based on that conversation. You review it, tell us what you like and what you'd change. We revise it. You can have two rounds of revisions included, which is usually more than enough to get it right.
Once you're happy with the design, we build out the full website. The whole process takes three weeks from deposit to launch.
Before it goes live, you get a final review. We walk you through how to use any features you'll be managing yourself. We answer your questions. Then we launch it.
After that, we handle everything technical. Monthly maintenance, security updates, making sure it stays fast and secure. When you need changes, you tell us and we make them. Eventually we'll have a dashboard where you can submit requests, but for now email works fine.
You focus on running your business. We focus on making sure your website represents it well.
The Questions Everyone Asks
Why is this so much cheaper than other agencies?
Because we've built our business differently. We don't have the overhead costs of traditional agencies. We've invested in systems that let us work more efficiently. We can deliver professional websites without charging premium prices, and we'd rather work with 100 small businesses at accessible rates than 20 big clients at premium rates. That's genuinely the business model.
What if I don't like the design?
We include two rounds of revisions to get it right. We work with you throughout the design process, so you're not seeing it for the first time on launch day. But if you're genuinely unhappy after seeing the initial designs and you don't think we can fix it, we'll refund your deposit within the first 14 days. No hard feelings.
Can I make changes to the website myself?
You can if you want to. We provide a simple content management system for basic updates. But the point of having us is that you don't have to. Changes are included in your monthly fee. Most of our clients prefer to send us a message and let us handle it, which is exactly what the service is designed for.
Is there going to be some surprise cost you haven't mentioned?
No. £195 upfront plus £100 a month for 18 months is the total cost. No setup fees. No revision charges. No hourly rates for support. No surprise invoices for security certificates or plugin licenses. If we needed to charge for something additional, we'd tell you upfront before doing it.
What happens to my website if I stop paying?
Your website stays live as long as you keep paying for hosting, either through us or somewhere else. If you want to leave Purple Bird, you can take your website files and host them elsewhere. The content and design belong to you. The monthly fee covers our management of the technical infrastructure, not ownership of your website.
Why We're Limiting This to 100 Businesses
This is a genuine limited-time offer running from November 2024 through January 2025.
We're capping it at 100 businesses because that's how many we can realistically onboard and serve properly during this period. We're not pretending there are only three spots left when there are actually fifty. We're being honest about capacity.
After this promotion ends, our pricing returns to standard rates. The systems and tools we've built will still allow us to be more affordable than traditional agencies, but the upfront deposit will go back up to around £1,000 to £1,500.
If you've been putting off sorting your website because of cost, this is your window.
What Happens Next
If this makes sense for your business, here's what to do:
Go to purplebird.agency/digital-relaunch and fill out the form. It takes about two minutes. You'll pay the £195 deposit, which reserves your spot.
We'll call you within 24 hours to start the discovery process.
Three weeks later, you'll have a professional website that you can actually afford.
If you're not sure whether this is right for you, email us with questions. We're not going to try to pressure you into signing up if it's not a good fit. We'd rather you make an informed decision than a rushed one.
But if you know your website needs sorting, and you know you can't drop £2,000 next week, and you're tired of losing customers to competitors with better online presence, this is probably the solution you've been waiting for.
The spots are limited. The timeframe is limited. The opportunity to get a professional website without the traditional barrier of massive upfront costs won't last past January.
Don't let 2025 be another year of saying "I really need to sort the website."
Sort it now. For £195.
